Wyoming Child & Family Development (WCFD) is a private, non-profit organization, founded in 1965. We provide Head Start, Early Head Start, Developmental Disabilities, and other comprehensive preschool services for children from birth through 5 years of age and their families. We have about 200 employees, working in 14 service locations in an 8 county region of Wyoming.

Early Head Start Family Support Provider - Douglas - 35hrs.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: To plan and implement home-based learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum and promote children’s progress across the standards described in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework: Ages Birth to Five, including for children with disabilities and dual language learners, as appropriate, and to build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families. To provide a developmentally appropriate environment that is safe, secure and stimulating for children from birth to three years of age. To ensure that pregnant women in the program receive consistent and appropriate care and information to ensure a positive start for their newborns. To partner with parents and to facilitate in assisting parents to be their child’s first teacher. To promote developmentally appropriate childcare in the community through community partnership and promotion.

SLP - Goshen

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: To serve as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to evaluate children between the ages of birth through five (5), and to assist in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEP) or Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP). To provide individual therapy to children. To provide training to staff and parents in the areas of expressive and receptive language skills, oral motor functioning abilities, and remediation or adaptations to provide services for hearing impaired children and provide appropriate documentation of those services.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: To ensure and provide a developmentally appropriate and safe environment for children birth to three years of age, that promotes exploration, learning, and the formation of secure and trusting relationships. To assist the EHS Teacher/Home Visitor in the preparation of materials and the set-up of the learning environment. Licensing/Credentialing Specialist

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: Will have complete oversight of all center licensing needs, facility inspections, monitorings, reporting and facilitation/coordination of training and continuing education needs. Will be responsible for overall coordination of the Family Service and Child Development Associate credential. This position will travel to sites throughout the organization to provide hands-on training and support.

Instructional Support Specialist - South

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: To assist the Education Coordinator in the planning and mentoring of new teaching/classroom staff within Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc. This position will assist the Education Coordinator in advancing child development and family focused programs within Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc. by providing guidance and expertise to classroom staff that enhances and develops skills that are directly applicable to a successful learning environment. Center Technician - Torrington - 35hrs

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: Performs secretarial and typing/word processing tasks, as assigned, for the smooth operation of the Center. Answers the phone and greets children, families, and community members in a professional and welcoming manner. The Center Technician is also responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of forms, office supplies, and equipment on hand and their maintenance.
